Head coach Kim Jung-kyun will return to T1 for the first time in four years.

According to the Kookmin Ilbo’s report on the 21st, Kim selected T1 as his next destination. Coach Kim received a large recruitment offer from multiple Chinese teams, but after much consideration, he reportedly chose to return to the team where he started his leadership career.

Coach Kim is considered the greatest master of all time in ‘League of Legends (LoL)’ e-sports. Since turning into a leader in 2013, he has won the LoL World Championship three times and the LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 10 times. 토토사이트

Most of his records have been achieved in T1, so this return to his old team is even more meaningful. He enjoyed three LoL World Championship wins and eight LCK wins with T1 star ‘Faker’ Lee Sang-hyuk.

Coach Kim left the team after serving as a coach at T1 from 2013 to 2017 and as a coach from 2018 to 2019. In 2020, he was active in Vish Gaming (VG) in China. In 2021, he returned to Korea and became the head coach of Damwon Kia (currently D-Plus Kia) and won both the LCK spring and summer seasons that year. In 2022, he was the general manager of the same team.

This year, he was appointed as the first head coach of the LoL national team at the Hangzhou Asian Games. He only focused on leading the national team, not to mention the Chinese professional team’s offer, contributed to South Korea winning the gold medal in Hangzhou by winning a victory.
