Acuña Jr. records 30 homers and 60 doubles

On his wedding day, Acuña Jr. hits 30 home runs and 60 doubles.

Acuña Jr. had a low-key wedding before a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

And before the joy could wear off, he made it an unforgettable day with a dramatic walk-off home run.

[Local play-by-play: “This hit is major league history, as Acuña Jr. completes the first 30-homer, 60-double season in the majors in style!”]

Two players had previously achieved the “30-homer-50-steal” mark in a season, including Barry Bonds in 1990, but “30-homer-60-steal” is a first for Aquino Jr.

Mookie Betts, who is also in contention for the league MVP, responded with back-to-back home runs.

In the fifth inning, he fired a home run over Aquino Jr.’s head, and in the seventh, he hit his 38th home run, another over the left field fence.

But it was Acuña Jr. who had the last laugh.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, he got his third hit of the game and then stole second base to give Atlanta a one-run win.

[Aquino Jr./Atlanta: “(I have to congratulate you twice, you got married today, it’s the best day of your life.) The important thing is that I helped the team win, but personally, I got married to my wife this morning, and it’s nice to have a lovely family, and I’m going to do my best to help the team win and get to the postseason.”]

San Diego’s Kim gave an 먹튀검증 autographed ball and bat to a female fan who returned his first career home run last month.
