Starting with the name, it’s all about beauty and elegance at the View Ridge Resort & Casino.
Located on the Biloxi Gulf Coast, the AAA 4 Diamond Resort, which is 32 stories tall, is Mississippi’s tallest building. The name aptly means “beautiful coast” in French. A luxurious atrium with freshly cut flowers and plants and a lobby greet visitors at check-in, and the guest room features a modern design with Greek marble floors in the bathroom.
So it wasn’t until last week that MGM Resorts International Real Estate revealed a major upgrade to its 85,000-square-foot casino. Called by the locals, “The Beau” has even more decorated its high-limit saloon and moved its famous poker room to the western end of the casino to take over what was once the home of the Memphis Q restaurant. The former poker room has been transformed into an expanded non-smoking section with new slots, increasing the number of machines on the property by 30 percent. 파친코
Marcus Glover, general manager, said, “It’s essential that Borges customers feel the unwavering commitment to the guest experience,” adding, “The luxurious high limits and non-smoking areas are welcome improvements.”
Located at the southern end of the casino floor, the new high-limit salon “mixes the elegance and comfort of the south.” Modern gas lamps line the perimeter of the upscale area, and lightweight midsection runs through the entire length of the open, airy lounge. The number of slot machines has increased to 126, with ample seating, eight table games, a private checkout, and a fully booked private bar.
The new design of the 16-table non-smoking poker room, which is home to The Million Dollar Heater and the Gulf Coast Poker Championship held every September, is uniquely decorated with brick murals on its back wall. The casino’s relocation to the southwest corner was supposed to be temporary, but Glover said it was made permanent because of “overwhelmingly positive feedback.”
“We listen to our players and as a result, the poker room has a convenient new address on the casino floor,” he said.
The former address of the poker room is currently a two-story non-smoking slot room adjacent to BR Prime, the resort’s flagship steakhouse. Among the 270 slot machines currently offered, the titles are Top Dollar, Lucky Wheels, and Triple Gold Bar.
Recognized by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the best resorts in the U.S., Beau Riviera is about an hour’s drive from New Orleans and offers the most table games, rooms, and meeting space on the Gulf Coast. The resort’s amenity golf course, Fallen Oak, is open exclusively to View Riviera guests. It was ranked as the second casino course in the U.S., following Las Vegas’ sister course, Shadow Creek, and hosts PGA Champions Tour events every spring.
