Nevada Woman Explodes $1.4M Jackpot Outside Las Vegas

Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip are visited by millions of customers every year, but there are as many gambling places across the state as they are generous to gamblers. A local woman from Nevada got a $1,418,848 jackpot this weekend while playing slot games at a casino hotel just outside of Las Vegas.

More than $1.4 million of jackpots exploded in a buffalo slot machine at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson, Nevada. The city is home to the upscale Green Valley area, which is only 16 miles from Las Vegas and has no sign of colorful night culture and the neon lights of Sin City. Instead, the Green Valley Ranch Resort, located there, has a huge Mediterranean-inspired casino and spa hotel with a game floor of 143,891 square feet. The lucky buffalo slot from the Aristrocrat is one of the 2,000 slot machines offered in casinos. 슬롯머신

In a Saturday press release, a spokesperson for Station Casino announced that the woman, who earned $1,418,848.95 before being taxed, decided to remain anonymous. Nevada-based Station Casino owns and operates the luxury casino resort along with about 20 other properties in the state, including the Palm’s Casino Resort in Las Vegas and the company’s flagship facilities, Red Rock Casino, Resorts and Spa.

You didn’t win the first jackpot
Although most of Nevada’s casinos are located on or near the famous strip, many large jackpots have come off the strip. Recently, a regular visitor to the Montbloe Casino won a jackpot of about $1.3 million. The gambler, who wanted to keep their identity a secret, was doing a three-reel, one-line Wheel of Fortune 5X Pay machine.

The casino customer who bet just $2 won IGT’s incremental jackpot on March 10. After the win, the jackpot was reset to a seed value of $1 million. Montbloe Casino is located in state line, Nevada, and was known as caesus taho until it was purchased and rebranded in 2006. It is currently owned by Carl Icahn’s Tropicana Entertainment Inc.

This weekend’s win is certainly not the first jackpot at Station Casino. One of the casino chain’s biggest prizes won last year at Fiesta Henderson, another casino resort run by the company in Henderson, Nevada. The $10 million jackpot was struck in September 2017 by a man simply called Roger on IGT’s Megabox progressive slot machine. The $10,192,523.88 prize is the original amount before tax. Although the winner has not clarified whether he will take the jackpot as a lump sum (which means he gets less cash than the actual jackpot’s value) or choose to pay the pension, the jackpot in IGT is typically paid at once.
