He will succeed Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International and CEO of Seminole Gaming, who has served as chairman of AGA since January 2022. Rumbolz will start his two-year term in January 2024.
“I am grateful for the opportunity as AGA’s next president to help shape the future of the game,” Rumbolz said. “From stopping illegal gambling to evolving responsible gambling, AGA is dealing with transformational issues and I want to build on the progress that Jim has made during his tenure.”

“We are honored to welcome industry legend Mike as the next AGA president in our own right,” said AGA President and CEO Bill Miller. “Mike’s experience as an operator, manufacturer, and regulator is incomparable and will be instrumental in driving meaningful progress on industry priorities.”
During Allen’s tenure, AGA worked to evolve the industry’s approach to responsible gaming while supporting the industry’s record COVID recovery and launched a new effort to stop illegal gambling.
“Jim’s knowledge, insights, and guidance have helped AGA advance our mission and maximize its impact on the industry. He has been a trusted advisor to me and I am grateful for his partnership over the last two years,” Miller continued.
“Our industry and association have been stronger than ever. I’m very proud that our success over the past two years has accelerated the recovery of the game while defining and advancing new priorities,” Allen said. “AGA is positioned under the leadership of Mike and Bill.”
