‘Freddie 20-20’ KU holds off Sangmyung to stay in 3rd place

Freddie’s performance keeps KU in third place.

KU defeated Sangmyung University 71-62 in the 2024 KUSF College Basketball U-League at the KU Global Campus Gymnasium on Wednesday.

KU improved to 10-3 on the season and remained in third place. Freddie (29 points, 21 rebounds, five steals) led the team’s offense, while Baek Kyung (16 points, seven rebounds, two steals, two blocked shots) and Kim Do-yeon (10 points, five rebounds) 토토사이트 contributed.

KU didn’t get off to a good start. Led by Choi Joon-hwan, the team struggled against Kwon Soon-woo, Park In-seop, and Choi Jung-hyun. The team scored only nine points in the first quarter, and KU was outscored 9-18.

Meanwhile, No. 11 Sangmyung University improved to 1-12 on the season. Kwon Soon-woo (15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists) and Song Jung-woo (14 points, 5 rebounds) split the minutes, but KU was outrebounded (27-46).
