KIM JI-SOO AND SANG-BIN KIM CALLED UP FOR OLYMPIC SOCCER TEAM’S TRIP TO FRANCE

Kim Ji-su (Brentford), Kwon Hyuk-kyu (Celtic), and Jung Sang-bin (Minnesota) will join Hwang Sun-hong’s U22 Olympic soccer team in France.

The Korea Football Association (KFA) announced the 24-player Olympic roster for this month’s trial against France on Saturday. The Olympic team will depart for France on Nov. 13 and face the France U21 team on Nov. 20 in Le Havre, France, led by Thierry Henry.

The roster includes overseas players Kim Ji-soo, Kwon Hyuk-kyu and Jeong Sang-bin, as well as Ko Young-joon (Pohang), Hwang Jae-won (Daegu), Ahn Jae-joon (Bucheon) and Kim Jung-hoon (Jeonbuk), who competed at the Hangzhou Asian Games in October.

Kim Sun-ho (Bucheon) and Lee Kang-hee (Gyeongnam) are newcomers under Hwang Sun-hong. The Olympic team is preparing for the Asian final qualifier for the Paris Olympics in April 2024 in Qatar and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under-23 Asian Cup.

“During this call-up, we want to fully understand the strengths and weaknesses of our team through the experience of playing against France, a strong team, and adapting to the local environment, and prepare for the final qualifiers and the Olympic Games,” said Hwang. “We minimized the number of overseas players in this call-up because it is uncertain whether we will be able to call on 카지노 overseas players for the Asian Final Qualifiers next April.”
