Former NH Senator and Casino Owner Focuses on New Development

The man was accused of fraudulently acquiring and misusing $844,000 in COVID-19 relief funds, a move that eventually got him in trouble. While the New Hampshire Route decided to suspend his gaming license, Sanborn was also given six months to sell the property.

According to a newly released report, the former senator tried to sell Concorde Casino but was able to secure an extension to the sale deadline. At the same time, the court’s decision reportedly sided with Sanborn in a move that it may develop a new casino on Loudon Road.

As announced by Concord Monitor, Sanborn received approval from the New Hampshire Lottery Commission to extend the deadline for selling Concord casinos. The original deadline was June 27, but was extended until July 18. 바카라사이트

The committee also confirmed that the extension was in line with a previously announced order that allowed casino buyers to extend their deadlines if they were available. Financial details were not disclosed at the time of writing, although active talks are reportedly underway with potential future owners of Concorde casinos.

The New Hampshire Lottery Board may extend the casino’s sale deadline further. However, the maximum period is limited to 90 days.

Sanborn On Track To Develop New Casino
The sale of Concorde Casino marks a significant step forward, with Sanborn planning to build a new casino. That’s because selling the property within the deadline set by the gambling regulator could lift the suspension of its gaming license. As a result, Sanborn could continue to pursue the proposed casino project on Break O’Day Drive.

Recently, a lawsuit challenging the city district board’s approval of the development was dismissed. The decision represented a positive development for Sanborn’s project, which proposed the establishment of a casino floor with restaurants and small breweries.

The aforementioned project also calls for the development of hotels and casinos. The gaming floor is expected to be around 24,000 square feet, offering a range of gambling activities to nearly 650 guests.
