The men’s primary club competition has begun.
In Glory County, Jeollanam-do, the 78th National Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships were held at the Glory Sports Center, Glory Sports Center Auxiliary Stadium, Beomseong High School Gymnasium, and Hongnong Middle School Gymnasium.
On the afternoon of the 31st, the men’s elementary club game was held for the first time at the Glory Sports Center. A total of four teams participated, including Jeonju Vision, Geoje Sports, Michu Hall, and Gwangju Light Town. The four teams will play a pool league to determine the final ranking.
The boys’ primary club competition began with a match between Geoje Sports and Jeonju Vision (8 minutes in the first quarter).
Geoje Sports was all about Kim Chan-ho. He dominated his opponent with 28 points, 23 rebounds, four steals, and two blocks in 32 minutes. Jeonju Vision had 15 points apiece from Choi Han-geol and Lee Ha-min, but it wasn’t enough.
The next game between Michu Hall and Gwangju Light Goal was a 49-23 win for Michu Hall.
Michu Hall was led by Moon Ha-ryul (17 points), who scored evenly. Choi Yoon-woo added six points with five assists, while Choi Jun-woo and Lee Jung-bin each had 10 points.
On the other hand, Gwangju Light Goeul got an even performance from Seo Hyun-jong with 13 points, seven rebounds, four steals and four blocks, but lacked scoring support from his teammates.
Meanwhile, the 78th National Men’s and 토토 Women’s Basketball Championships will be streamed live on the YouTube channel Korea Basketball Association Live.
