Jamaican Prime Minister Proposes Bill on Casino

Jamaica’s prime minister kept his promise and introduced a bill to Parliament to legalize casino gambling on the island. It continues to be controversial in the country, with opponents saying casino gambling will “devastate social morale.” However, supporters are touting the economic stimulus that casinos can bring to help combat extreme poverty that many of the island’s residents are experiencing. 슬롯머신

There are already two developments in the hope that this bill will be passed. One casino license is promised to be issued to the $5 billion Harmony Cove Resort in Trelawney and another to Jamaica Celebration for the resort project in St James’s. Congress is scheduled to consider a new bill on December 1.
